Starting the log

I’ve spent a long time building things — parts, machines, cabinets, plant lines, and lately a growing pile of servers and embedded gadgets — and almost never written any of it down. This is me fixing that.

Dawn Integrations is going to be a build log. A running list of what I’m working on and, more usefully, how it actually went — the wiring that didn’t match the diagram, the config that took three tries, the fix that finally stuck.

What’s likely to show up first:

• LinuxCNC on the 4-axis gantry router — config, the ATC, probing, tool offsets.
• The shop time-clock system — Flask and SQLite on the back end, an ESP32 RFID kiosk on the front.
• Home-lab servers and NAS — the storage and compute this all runs on.
• Whatever else I’m elbow-deep in that week.

First real post is coming. For now, the bio has the background.
